Customer Service

Remember your role.  You are the face of our community, often the first person that people encounter in our halls.  Regardless of a rough day or difficult "customer," you must remember to act accordingly in your leadership role.

Be patient.  Put yourself in other peoples' shoes.  Mind your frustration.  Rememer a time when you benefitted from someone else exercising patience with you.

Ask questions.  "I don't know" should never be an acceptable answer, unless it is followed by, "but I will find out and get back to you."  Use your resources to best serve our "customers."

Engage.  Part of what makes our community special is the personal touch that CC workers provide.  Get to know our residents so that they feel welcomed and right at home.

Strive to be your best.  I know that your identity consists of so much more than solely being a Community Center worker.  However, I want you to be giving your job 110%.  Work hard at being the best CC worker you can be.
