Expectations

 

  • Engagement is every interaction that occurs in your building:  student to student, student staff to student, and professional staff to student

  • RAs are expected to engage with residents on a daily basis through creative means

  • Each RA must facilitate a Tiger Chat with each student on their floor within the first 4 weeks of the semester 

  • Community engagement opportunities (i.e., family dinners) are designed to promote comfort, connections, and thoughtful discussions

  • All programs must be proposed ONE WEEK prior to the date of your event

  • Be prepared to discuss progress of program planning in your 1:1 meetings and staff meetings

  • After each program, complete the reflection portion of Sharepoint within 48 hours

  • Don't forget to turn in your receipts/petty cash to the Business Office within 48 hours
